JW-MOC air cushion crepe sole

JW-MOC air cushion crepe sole

Mark Parker and Tinker Hatfield in the late 80s were inspired by the visible elements designed by Renzo Piano at the Center Pompidou in Paris to create a window on the sole able to cushion and lighten the iconic Air Max.

Starting from an icon of the 90s, Sense of symmetry in this project merges the need to offer a more natural and recyclable product and the hip hop culture. The sole for the JW- Moc was designed in crepe sole (natural rubber), without the addition of chemical additives or dyes. The elasticity of crepe sole, its wear resistance together with the air cushion create a perfect mix of hip hop culture and craftsmanship.
